John, the Bot on the Board. You must be going to talk frontier models, LLMs, hallucinations ... nope, not at all. They are of peripheral interest. The real issue is, as ever, check and balance. Does a bot on the board make any difference to the effectiveness of a board? Is the ability to discuss issues strengthened or put at risk? Does a bot help or does it impair the CEO’s willingness to be open to challenge? To get to the answer we take a look at what happens ‘pre-bot’ before looking ‘post-bot’.

If you are a NED you will have board information system providers chasing you with their bot. The specification will no doubt be it holds the answer to life, the universe and everything.
