It isn’t a cap at all …
The UK government plans, at the moment at least, to remove the bankers' bonus cap. What does this mean? Well, many folks don't understand what the cap is and does. This is because the cap word lends an aura of control over the amount the happy recipient can earn. But, it isn't a cap at all. It is in fact a ratio. 'Bankers bonus ratio'. It doesn't boil the blood as much as 'bankers bonus cap' does.
